Awesome place to shop around and get great food

A hidden Lithuanian gem, from the South side of Chicago, Milda's is a creator of the most outstanding kugelis and bacon buns you can find. We drive from Chicago to get our bacon buns there. They are large, fluffy, and the bacon is done just right! Nom nom.

One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had, Cuban Pork with amazing pickled onions, wish they sold them. Wow!

I would give them 10 stars if possible. The staff was very friendly and recommend the BLT (It was delicious) A great down home / friendly place where you can relax and enjoy. They trust their customers to pay the bill when they are done eating and that is a very nice feeling.Great food / Great prices / Why cant you be closer to where I live ???Thank you

The food here is pretty good and the pastries they make are quite good as well. The lady that runs things from the front is always pleasant, but the rest of the staff doesn't seem to know that you are quite there. There are lots of options here and overall the ingredients are about average. I will likely return.

They were out of stock in the few items that I wanted. Some stuff had sat on the shelves a little longet than necessary. Overall they still had a decent selection and were very friendly. Hope to have better luck on my next road trip.

I drove 3 hours with my mom just to have some real Lithuanian kugelis and ordered a few pans to take home. Just make sure to order Friday morning, that is when milda makes it. Can’t say enough how much I enjoy this place

Gotta get a carmel apple from mildas! Have it cut to allow eating in the car. And they have a limited season-apple harvest in the fall.

Smalltown corner market with freindly staff and good food aswell as a wide selection of snacks and drinks there are too many cute things about this place to even fit it in and everytime i go i discover something new.

Not a huge fan. Coffee and pastries are average at best. Go around the corner to the casual chef - much better.

Milda’s makes good sandwiches and hoagies! They have this Lithuanian thing going on inside with a Lithuanian map on the Wall and cookies from the Old country. While I was waiting for my turkey sub (YUMMY)this 6’4 Lithuanian Lady cut the line,well I was the only one in line,and order a Reuben. This Hippie looking Cat she called Jerry Rubin came out of the freezer and left with her!I then saw this lady reading the Lithuanian news paper. Something was up as there were 2 big dudes with dark sun glasses and ear pieces eyeing me! Come to find out the lady was Dalia Grybauskaite President of Lithuania having some Lithuanian cookies and drinking groseunie which is like a Lithuanian Red Bull. Go figure all this going on in Union Pier.They have the NYT and theNew Buffalo gazette. The New Buffalo Gazettewas less depressing so I read it.

Milda's is the GREATEST! She is so nice, it's like seeing a long lost relative!

Great shop that has a little bit of everything to fit your tastes. Ordered grilled tilapia sandwich and burger. Both were great and my daughter loved the richness of the artisan burger bun. People are very lovely and feels like a corner of home.

Best grilled catfish sandwich ever!!! Get it cajun with the pesto mayo. And their homemade vegan soups are always awesome and fresh. Just had the jalapeno, pumpkin, and ginger soup; and the oriental broccoli and onion soups. Both absolutely delish!

This place was around when I first started walking. It's evolved into a fine market with eclectic selection in a small town. The deli produces delicious sandwiches, my choice, the Reuben. The freezer is stocked with a variety of cool drinks. There's a Lithuanian type of ice cream bar that's wonderful. There are also finely decorated Easter eggs next to the choice of baked goods.

Love Milda's. Fun unique different would best describe this interesting market in the middle of nowhere Union Pier. Delicious food offerings that were new to us as most of the items were Lithuanian. Will return when back in the area!

Has some of the most awesome sandwiches and a huge selection of vegan and organic produce and hard to find food/beverages for health conscious people. Patty Melt is out of this world for people who's diet includes meat. Baked goods and treats are amazing
